construction methods to use? |
A |
After learning what goals you have for your project, we
make suggestions and recommendations that are consistent with
your overall objectives. You may choose some, all, or none
of the ideas we present. It’s your home and we will
adhere to your preferences down to the smallest detail.

Tell me about the people involved in the actual
construction of my project?
A |
We use qualified and insured contractors with years of
proven job performance. We have found that professional contractors
who specialize in one construction area perform their job
with a high level of quality, in less time, and at a fair
price. |

Q |
What type of construction agreement/fee structure
do you use?
A |
We offer our clients three options:
1) Cost-plus a percentage of the total construction cost.
The client pays the actual cost of construction plus a fee
to CCS based on a percentage of the actual construction cost.
2) Cost-plus a fixed fee. The client pays the actual
cost of construction plus a pre-determined fixed fee to CCS.
The fee paid to CCS does not change unless the scope of the
project increases or decreases.
3) Fixed-bid. This is also known as “turnkey.”
CCS will build your project for a fixed amount (construction
cost plus CCS fee) that does not change unless the client
makes changes to the original project guidelines.
During our pre-construction meeting(s) we discuss the pros
and cons of all three options. |
